About

Meet Stephanie

I’m Stephanie Smith, a licensed acupuncturist and the founder of Chi Harmony Acupuncture. I opened my Boston practice in 2009, and I’ve spent the years since working closely with people with a wide range of physical and health concerns.

Over time, I’ve learned that symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Pain can affect sleep. Stress can affect digestion. Emotional strain can show up physically. And the way your nervous system responds to what is happening in your life can influence how you feel in your body.

That’s why I don’t approach acupuncture as a one-size-fits-all treatment for a particular symptom. I want to understand the larger picture and use that information to individualize your care.

Qualifications

I am licensed through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and the New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture Licensing to practice both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, MA in 2009.

Stephanie has trained in taiji and qi gong since 2002. She is a certified Medical Qi Gong practitioner, a Pangu Shengong (Pangu Mystical Qigong) Moving Form Instructor, and is certified by Bruce Frantzis to teach Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong. She is also a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist.
