Women’s Health
Women’s health changes throughout the different stages of life, and the symptoms you experience can change along with it.
Acupuncture can be used to support wellbeing and address a range of concerns related to the menstrual cycle and hormonal transitions, including the years leading up to and following menopause.

Common concerns I work with
- Menstrual discomfort
- PMS
- Irregular or changing cycles
- Symptoms associated with hormonal transitions
- Perimenopause
- Menopause
- Stress and sleep concerns related to hormonal changes
- General wellbeing during different stages of the menstrual and reproductive life cycle
Looking at the whole picture
Women’s health concerns don’t always exist in isolation. Changes in hormones can affect sleep, digestion, mood, energy, pain, and your overall sense of wellbeing.
Rather than treating one symptom in isolation, I look at the larger pattern and consider how the different pieces may be connected.
Your treatment is individualized based on your symptoms, your health history, and what you are experiencing at that point in your life.
Acupuncture during hormonal transitions
The years around menopause can bring changes that affect many parts of daily life. Some people experience changes in sleep, temperature regulation, mood, energy, or physical comfort.
Acupuncture may be used as supportive care during this transition, with treatment focused on the symptoms and patterns that are most relevant to you.
What to expect
Your first appointment includes time to talk about your concerns, health history, and what you would like to address. I then use that information, along with traditional Chinese medicine assessment, to develop an individualized treatment approach.
Acupuncture can be used on its own or alongside conventional medical care.
